Hello friends and beautiful people!
I'm so excited that you folks have
chosen to join me here. And if you're just passing through, I hope
you like it enough to stay!
Here you'll find my own little piece of
Bohemia. Who am I? I'm Uwimana Hannah. Hannah is my given name (means
grace or favor), and Uwimana is the blogging name that I chose to
honor my Rwandan sponsor sister (means child of God). Many of you may
know me already from The Path of the Carpenter. If you're a long-time
follower, then I hope you embrace this new journey as well!
I chose the name The Peaceful
Bohemian as a reflection of who
I am at heart. Peaceful refers
to my love of all things hippie, which you'll see here as I talk
about peace, love, friendship, music, simplicity, getting back to
nature, and other things as well. Bohemian
refers to my passion for bright colors and the style sometimes known
as bohemian romanticism. The two things may seem to clash... the
simplistic hippie, the loud and extravagant colors of boho... but
for me they just go together.
My
vision is for this to be a peaceful place where we can relax and
enjoy one another's company. There's so much hate in the world.... so
much us-and-them, so much division, so many bad vibes, so much bummer
stuff. This is a place where we can all be one... where we can go
against the flow and embrace our true selves. Where we can be our own peaceful gathering.
And
that's what being a peaceful bohemian is all about.
